QATAR TAMIZHAR SANGAM is a socio-cultural, voluntary organization and has been established by Tamil speaking Indians living in the State of Qatar.
"Qatar Tamizhar Sangam" (QTS) has been affiliated to the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) under the aegis of Embassy of India, Qatar on December 12, 2000.
Aims and Objectives of QTS:
QTS promotes Tamil culture and facilitates exchange of opinion and ideas amongst the members associated with the Sangam. For achieving this purpose, QTS Provide a platform for members to meet and exchange views on both social and cultural matters.
Cultivate and propagate the Tamil socio-cultural values, ethics and heritage.Cultivate and propagate Tamil Philosophy, Culture, History and heritage amongst the expatriate Tamil community resident in Qatar in order to strengthen the National integration policies of India.
Commit to such acts and things, which are both in total accordance with the laws of the State of Qatar and which are for the healthy benefit of the resident Tamil community in particular and the resident Indian community in general.
